Who we are

About SolarPeer 360

SolarPeer 360 is a Nigerian energy-technology company building smart metering and controlled access for local solar sharing.

Our mission

Make reliable solar access affordable and measurable for people and small businesses that cannot buy complete solar systems.

Our vision

Every viable rooftop can help unlock reliable community energy access.

The problem we are working on

Shops, students and households lose work, study time and money when the grid goes off. Generators are expensive to run, and a complete solar system is out of reach for many.

Some neighbours already have solar panels with energy to spare. What has been missing is a fair, measured and safe way to share it.

What we are building

  • A SolarPeer hub meter at the solar owner’s site, and a meter for each buyer.
  • Prepaid energy measured in kWh, with a power limit in watts set for each buyer’s appliances.
  • Payment in cash or by bank transfer, with a receipt for both sides.
  • An Android app for pilot participants. It is not available to download yet.

Preparing the first deployments

We have opened a pilot waitlist in Lagos, Niger and Abuja. The first deployments will be in the communities with the most sign-ups.

We do not supply energy nationwide, we are not a utility, and we have no signed partnerships or customer results to report yet.
