Quick answers

Who can join the waitlist?

Shops and small businesses, campus and student residences, homes, solar owners, installers, and cluster partners such as community leaders, campus associations or estate managers.

Where are you starting, and how are communities chosen?

SolarPeer is starting in Lagos, Niger and Abuja. The communities with the most sign-ups become the first deployment clusters. We cannot promise a date for any community.

I am not in Lagos, Niger or Abuja. Can I still join?

Yes. You join the expansion waitlist, and we will contact you when SolarPeer reaches your state.

Do I need to know a solar owner near me?

No. If you do, say so on the form: it helps us form a cluster in your community.

How do I join?

Fill in the pilot waitlist form. Nothing is charged or activated from the website.

Can I pay in cash or by transfer?

Yes. In the pilot you pay the solar owner in cash or by bank transfer, and both of you get a receipt.

What does energy cost?

The pilot is planned around ₦250 per kWh. This is an assumption, not a final price. Meter and hub terms are shared after a site assessment and in signed terms, and nothing is paid to join the waitlist.

I sent a form. What happens next?

Keep the reference you were shown. The team reviews sign-ups by community and contacts you on the number you gave. We cannot promise a place in the pilot or a date.

I lost my reference

Call, WhatsApp or send a message with the phone number you used, and we will find your request.

How do I get the app?

The app is not available to download yet. See app availability.

Can I change or delete my details?

Yes. Contact the team and tell us what to change or delete.

I am in the pilot and have a problem with my meter or a payment
